I have filed with the Texas State Attorney General's office, The BBB, and FTC to complain about and report this company. They have been able to control the negative reports about them coming out on Google and Facebook, but that can only go so far. The fact that they are refusing to close my account after clear and repeated requests and then start double charging my account after I call shows a level of maliciousness that needs to be exposed. I have called my state representative's office that they are indeed exploiting consumers during a global pandemic and should be considered bad faith actors and a threat to the public at large.
1. EXTREMELY overpriced.
2. Produce at the grocery store or from other services

I've belonged to Farmhouse Delivery for around six months, and I've been very pleased. They deliver fresh, local produce to my house once every two weeks (I think they have weekly services as well). It's always more than enough for me and my boyfriend. It's always very high quality and as crisp as can be. They have never missed a delivery or been late. I like the add-on options as well - you can order meat, mushrooms, value-added products, pastries, cheeses, etc. to come with your bushel. They send lovely emails with recipes and farm updates. They also sponsor farm tours and happy hours that are fun and help you feel even more engaged in the community.
I would reccomend them to just about anyone - in fact, I usually do.

I can't say enough good things about the relatively new Farmhouse Delivery service. In an effort to eat more locally and organically, but with all the usual constraints of time and economics, this is an invaluable opportunity.
Feeding just two of us, I typically order the seasonal produce basket every other week and love the element of surprise of not knowing what goodness will be inside. My boyfriend and I have been introduced to kale, collards, daikon and a have learned to utilize a host of other wonderful staples such as summer squash, carrots, leeks, beets, peaches & corn in new & different ways thanks to the recipes and tips included with every order.
