Because it is a great market, sets the example and may cause our downtown development to get a permanent structure for it. But, honestly, also because you did not list Midway and Susie Quick's market where she offers vegetables from her own farm and those of farmers in surrounding counties. She's had lots of health problems and just keeps plugging along. We love her.

We actually love our beautiful tree lined parking lot that we get to use compliments of Fast Signs and Pedal the Planet. The parking is much more convenient than anything downtown and we're stroller and wheelchair friendly! You park and in a matter of a few steps you're in the middle of our market! We wish Suzie good health thoughts.

Local, always homegrown or produced...what more can I say! It's the only market in Lexington that can say that!

I appreciate the effort that goes in to making this a producer market, and the attitude of working together for the good of the customer.

You just can't beat the fruits, vegetables, flowers, jams, cakes, herbs, soap, etc. at the Bluegrass Farmers Market. The parking is great, the farmers are so knowledgeable about their produce and it's just such a nice change to see only homegrown or homemade.

I love all the homegrown produce that I find at the market. These farmers grown it themselves ... definitely no reselling!

Thank you so much for noticing that the members of this market are growers only. It means so much to them to know that people appreciate their hard work.

When we travel we like to visit the local farmer's markets. The produce was lovely and the people very friendly. Much nicer than my local farmer's market.

It is nice to get to know the actual growers of your fruits and veggies and not having them shipped in from other countries.

I support Bluegrass Farmers Market because it's a important aspect of a community. Local farmers are the best option for buying fresh produce. The market is a win-win situation!

Thank you, we think it's nice to be able to shop with an actual grower who knows the difference between a "potato" and "Wisconsin Superior" spud!

My cousin is a producer and I support her and all her hard work, and the products are fresh out of local gardens, not off the produce docks here in Lexington.

Thank you very much, you apparently know how much work goes into bringing farm fresh items to the market. Our farmers work darn hard to provide the very best and you understand that. We appreciate it!

Isn't it nice to be able to find out that the squash you purchased is not just a "squash" but a "Magda" variety and the farmer really knows about it? I love being amongst real farmers for that reason! Thank you. :)

Herb'n Renewal's spices are the best I've ever come across. I buy almost exclusively from Karin and Drew. The other farmers have very good products also.

It is such a nice change to actually meet the farmer who really grows what they are selling. They are friendly farmers with knowledge of their products. I don't mind not being able to find corn or watermelons yet because I know that when they are available that they will be truly homegrown by the farmer selling them. That makes all the difference to me.

And, you can't beat the free parking. You have about 10 steps to the market and I can use my wheelchair with no problem.

Thank you so very much from all of our farmers. We have worked very hard to provide a market that is customer friendly while still trying to provide only the freshest and the best in season fruits and vegetables available. We realize that some folks want corn in April, but we love folks like you who understand that it just isn't available in Kentucky and we're so thankful that you are willing to wait to buy the "real" thing! :)
