It provides a wide variety of high quality, locally produced products that are reasonably priced. The location is convenient.

The Quincy Farmers Market has a great selection of produce, as well as flowers, baked goods, cheese, and more. Washington Park is a beautiful setting for the market and the people are always friendly and helpful.

Good produce. Convenient locations. Good for local growers' economy. Good for local eaters' health and taste buds.

I find the freshest produce there and the friendliest most helpful people. I've found vegetables there that I've never seen before and the farmers are always happy to explain the best ways to prepare the produce. I love that personal connection that you won't find in any grocery store. In general I want to try to support local merchants as much as I can.
