Year round: sun, rain, or coastal fog. Best berries, greens, winter & summer produce, plus eggs, grass fed beef & pork, pasta and a wacky accordionist to astonish & entertain. These farmers are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Three cheers for Aptos Farmers Market.

It is fun to follow the seasons through local produce. The vendors are friendly and share their knowledge about different varieties -- especially the growing number of heirloom varieties. The market enables me to provide a marvelous diet for our house rabbits and I eat better as well!

Our Farmer's Market in Aptos (MBCFM) is the BEST! The vendors are like next door neighbors, caring and concerned that they are bringing us the best of their produce, fish, and products. The Market is very well run, thanks to the manager's constant presence and wise decisions. Our market is the best!

Every Saturday it's like a party! Everyone seems to be in a good mood both vendors and patrons. Lots of recipe sharing is going on. Plus they bring in local chefs to show what they are doing with their farmers market produce. My favorite thing is that I can but grass fed, hormone and antibiotic free, happy farm animal meats.

It's great to have a nearby farmer's market with such a wide selection of yummy fresh veggies and mushrooms(!) and much more, with friendly informative vendors and live music weekly. The setting! plenty of parking, views to die for, and don't forget the seafood and meat options too! And purring kitties... hard to beat that. We love it.

The eggs I buy there are better brighter and fresher than any other eggs anywhere! I always start my stroll through the market with a fresh and excellent chai from the tea vendor. My son always makes sure I pick up some exotic mushroom (he is 11 & eats more vegies now due to the farmers market experience than I could have ever encouraged him to eat on my own), and (to go with the mushroom of course) some Belgian cheese sausage from the Corrolitas Market booth. Fresh, local, often organic or no pesticides, the produce is alive and vibrant at our Aptos Saturday Market. There is always live music and often a class to enjoy. What better way to spend a Saturday morning!

I love the variety of the veggies and fruits that are just as colorful as the people who grow them. And the demonstrations and visits with local chefs. And the cat adoption people who love their feline friends so much! And that's just the beginning of the many outstanding aspects of this huge yet heartfelt market.

This market is one of the oldest markets in the area, and I have been going for 20+ years. A wide variety of produce, flowers, meat and fish, and all top quality, can be found here year-round rain or shine. The folks here, vendors and customers alike, are friendly. The market also features talks from local chefs and gardeners to inspire and further educate folks about what is at market.

I love buying my produce there, learning what's in season when, and meeting the people who grow the food my family eats.

We think of the amazing music played by the band as the soul of the Aptos market. We love supporting the local farmers!!! This feels super important. Also, by having delicious and organic fruits and vegetables, enjoying wonderful chai, as well as seeing and buying beautiful flowers, we are contributing to our joy and health, as well. Being with and seeing friends for whom the market is also important, makes Saturday morning a such fun and fantastic highlight of the week.

Our farmers market is the best! This market is really an urban village each Saturday morning--it's THE place where our community gathers to buy fresh, local produce, flowers, plants, farm fresh eggs, locally produced honey, artisan baked goods and pastries, and many other exceptional products. It's also a great place to relax and meet friends for coffee or chai, listen to music, (The Great Morgani is our personal favorite) or watch a cooking demo. It's the perfect start to a weekend!

I have been a regular shopper at the Aptos farmers market for over 8 years, and I can say it is the best market I've ever been to anywhere.

First, there are a lot of vendors offering high quality food that's locally grown, caught or prepared. I love getting up on saturday morning and heading down there, shopping list in hand, to see what surprises I'll find and to replenish my cupboards with the foods I love. Fruits, veggies, flowers, eggs, teas and fair trade coffee are all available, and I know they're going to be fresh and grown sustainably. I can do virtually all my shopping for the week here.

The venue itself is easy to find with lots of free parking and is handicapped accessible.

The Aptos market is family oriented, to be sure. I look forward to meeting friends there as well as talking to the farmers and vendors that have become friends over the years.

This market also has regular cooking demonstrations and the web site is a resource that always let's me know what new crops are in, (and the farmers that grow them) as well as a physician's column that helps inform and educate about things that matter to me: health, fitness, stress reduction etc.

This market is a true community event, and I highly recommend it to locals and visitors alike.
