It's almost impossible to find organically grown peaches in this area, but Jett's Produce is selling delicious, chemical-free fruit. The farmer should be commended -- and patronized frequently -- for growing his crops this way. He's also willing to explain his methods to backyard organic gardeners like myself.

I often visit Thad's farm and have been priviledged to take a tour of his tunnels. On a recent trip there, he invited me to peek into his tunnels to see how he grows the produce that he sells at his stand and at the farmer's market in Lansdale on Saturday mornings. As a personal chef I am always looking for near perfect quality, not only for myself but also for my clients. As I looked at the rows of vibrant colors of greens, I vibrated with excitement! Such beauty! Farmer Thad took time to explain how he grows his produce and it was clear to me that day, that not only does he absolutely love what he does, he takes great pride in providing the best quality for his customers. His greens are tender and flavorful. His tomatoes are bursting with flavor. And strawberries...the absolute best I have ever had. In addition, he stands behind his product and will take the time to explain anything you need to know. Eating locally is the responsible thing for we consumers to do and I am happy to recommend this farm stand for your family's produce needs.
