I love the local products and supporting local vendors. The music and art makes for a fun afternoon!

I've many of the venders over the last few years. There is a lot of items to choose from, plus they are all high quality! The music is always delightful.

I love the local products; being able to keep our money local makes a huge difference to me.

Why do I support the Farmers Market at UMD? The people, the produce, the crafts and the music!

it's easy to get to by bike, the sellers are all fun to talk to, and I end up with great local food to feed my family.

It's win-win: I get to support local growers and I get fabulous, locally grown, fresh produce that's convenient. It's an added plus that the Market includes crafters and other products as well.

Because they're an awesome bunch of hard-working individuals who manage to supply our community with delicious locally-grown goodies, even in the temperamental far north of Minnesota!

Connecting with people who actually grow our food is very grounding, as opposed to buying pre-packaged food made in some factory somewhere. My favorites from the farmers market include raspberries, cherry tomatoes, fresh greens, cucumbers, and apples when they're in season.

The vendors are always friendly, the produce fresh, the grounds spotless and the weather has cooperated each Wednesday!!

It's local, inclusive, welcoming, wanting to grow, a huge positive contribution to community!

UMD students do not have a lot of choice on campus for fresh, local, sustainably-grown food. The market affords them the opportunity to link their food to the people who grow it. Educational and delicious!

I have been going to the farmers market at UMD for the past three years and I must say that this year has been better than ever before. There are more vendors than before featuring great produce.

We need to support locat purveyors of food, small farmers and to contribute to the local economy.

It's great to buy local and eat food that's good for you. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon, visiting with your neighbors.

Brings local music, art and produce to the UMD campus and Duluth community! It's a great time!
