I love that they took a space that was abandoned for reasons unknown to me and made it into a great space for the community! Long live the Redford Farmers Market.

It's very nice, but very small, it'd be great if this money could help it get bigger! And, it's VERY close to home, I walk there, and I love supporting local growers!

My farmers market is open on Sunday, when it less likely you will find locally grown produce and other products in any area. They use space in an older fomrer library building that was opened up and renovated to bring the outdoors in. Its great!!

I grew up in this neighborhood and it is SO nice to have a farmer's market nearby. No more going to Farmington, Northville, Royal Oak or Detroit. Now we have fresh grown produce a short walk away!

I grew up in Redford and the small town atmosphere is most perfect for a Farmer's Market. I think people are getting back to basics and fresh veggies are at the top of the list.

Redford Farmers Market is good for the consumers - always fresh; it's good for the suppliers and the economy; and its good for the life of the community. It's a pleasure to support our local businesses. We need to do all we can to keep Redford the wonderful community to live in that it has always been.

I admire and support the entrepreneurial spirit of local growers in Redford, Michigan. This is also a great opportunity to support the theme--Buy USA! Buy Michigan! Buy Redford!!!

I support the Redford Farmers Market because the city took an unused building and turned it into a place that everyone in the community can really be connected to. The city uses the space to support community events, the need for local and fresh produce is met and as citizens we can meet others with the same vision for our city. Hooray for Redford Farmers Market!

I have lived in Redford Township for 21 years and love having the market at our new Marquis. Enjoy walking up with my dog and looking at all the wares and visiting with the local vendors and meeting the neighbors. It's great to buy and vegetables and flowers and other products from the local merchants.
