The Broad Street Farmer's Market is a community anchor brining together a diverse group of people. Its a place to buy locally grown produce from Brandt's Farm while munching on a Sinfully Sweet sticky bun. Its a place of family where generations have come for friendship and food. Its a place of education where youth can learn about tradition, history, and the value of seasonly fresh, farm to table eating. That is Harrisburg's Broad Street Market.

This market is an eclectic mix of smells and tastes able to please just about anyone walking through the door. Whether you are on the search for locally grown squash and tomatoes or the search for a sweet treat, the market has it. But, donÂ?t think itÂ?s just all about the food. This historic market also serves as a community-meeting place and a renewed interest in the market is helping to bring cultural and educational opportunities to customers.

One of the oldest farmers' market in the country; cuisines from all over the world, a local farmers' market on Wednesdays and a renewed commitment to the Market as the gathering place during the community's renaissance.

This place always has awesome food vendors, I make it a weekly habit to stop in a try something new. From Korean, Vietnamese, Indian, Pizza to Caribbean this place has something for everyone. And the produce and meat is actually cheaper than what you'll pay at Giant or Weis, not to mention fresher!
