You get a wonderful feeling when you walk into the farmer's market area. Locally grown veggies, goat cheese and goat's milk soap, local beef sales, natural dog bones, fresh eggs, local honey and flowers. It's small, cozy and a great place!

We have purchased produce & products since the market started. We consider many of the farmers as friends & love to purchase locally what we do not grow ourselves.

The Waxhaw Farmer's Market is my hometown market. It's a relatively young market that gets bigger and better every year. Friendly folks, plenty of variety and terrific produce.

Love the fresh local produce and value the caring, cheerfulness of the vendors. They care about their farms and gardens and love what they are doing and that really shows........I appreciate being able to buy their fresh produce (which tastes sooooo much better than from the grocery store) and try new recipes if I don't know how to prepare a vegetable (rainbow chard, for instance).

For the most part the same vendors for many years. It's a neighborhood event where you run into friends every Tues and Sat. Always wonderful advice and love the special guests with their great info on composting, organic gardening, master gardening etc etc etc. Local entertainment. Beautiful location in the middle of historic downtown waxhaw. Plenty of parking. Know where the food comes from and always come home with a new recipe with the latest seasonal regular or rare fresh veggies.

A Saturday morning visit to WXW's Farmer's Market sets the stage for a lovely start to the weekend. My husband Peter loved talking with each farmer, while I picked out the produce. We loved deciding what to have for lunch and dinner based on the market's fare - the highest quality fruits and vegetables. We never left without goat cheese and a smile on our faces.

Waxhaw Farmer's Market is an essential ingredient in my kitchen. Most importantly I get to support our local economy. Fresh produce, herb plants, eggs, grass fed beef and goat cheese are some of my favorite purchases. The community of local farmers are friendly and informative and I love the new location! Keep it going, you all are a part of what makes Waxhaw so special.

Fresh out the ground produce grown within a short distance of my home. Too wonderful! Care is taken not to use pesticides which is how all food should be grown. Friendly, caring growers we can all be proud of in our town.

Builds a sense of community and a chance to meet locals if you are new to the area. The produce is inexpensive, fresh, and in season!! Most, if not all produce, is pesticide free or organic. Love the fresh flowers; you can not get a better bouquet for a better price ANYWHERE!!

The Waxhaw Farmer's Market draws a diverse and lively crowd into the heart of the Waxhaw community every Saturday morning. The Tuesday afternoon market is quieter but is great for picking up a few more items to tide you through the week.
The local food producers that make this market so unique and enjoyable have a true dedication to building a sustainable local food supply that enhances the nutritional, economic and social health of our community.
