This past year the particpation of the vendors has been inconsistent and sparse in number. I would rather travel to other county's farmer markets than this one because of this reason. It is not customer friendly in what is offered.

The produce that is available at our farmers market is excellent and the variety is very good. I like the fact that everything is grown locally by people who are our friends and neighbors. You can't buy fresher produce anywhere. Each year I eagerly await the opening of the market so I can buy some really good veggies!!

I support the Logansport Farmer's Market because too many eating establishments in this town don't have a clue on preparing seasonal foods. It is pitiful when restaurants serve the same old pre-packaged tasteless frozen crap. Every restaurant in town should be shopping at the Farmer's Market! Please support the hometown folk with fresh produce and not the big corporate "Supersizers"!

Promote business for the farmer, baker, or grower in your area! This is one of the small chances they have to get their wares into the community. You almost never hear of a recall for locally produced goods.

I am in support of "every" farmer's market in any location! The produce is fresher than that of supermarket's and the farmer deserves the lion share of the profit for all of the work involved in producing a quality product.
The Logansport Farmer's Market is a wonderful addition to the ambiance of this beautiful town!

Sadly, we have slowly lost our connection to food, opting for the fastest or most convenient option rather than the healthiest. The Logansport Farmers Market provides a fresh alternative. I look forward to attending and love chatting with the farmers each week. What better way to support the community? SHOP LOCAL!

One of my children has an allergy to food dyes, preservatives, processed sugar and flour...the farmers market allows me to purchase wonderful food for him and the rest of my family. Shopping organically at the grocery store can get very pricey and usually a limited selection. The Farmers Market gives me a wonderful selection and great prices!!! Thank you to all the wonderful people who are a part of it!!!

The Logansport Farmers Market is great and growing. My father in law is 92 and cannot wait to go and purchase the fresh produce every week. The selection has grown beyond just vegetables, fruits, and flowers to now include fresh Bison and Lamb. We set in the middle of the best farm land in the world and now we are able to purchase farm fresh at its best.

The Logansport Farmers Market is one significant area in the revitalization of downtown Logansport. The Farmers Market is on Logansport's "main street", Market Street, downtown and highly visible. Local and folks passing through Logansport stop to purchase produce from a dozen or more local vendors. I love the Logansport Farmer's Market.

With the downturn in the economy, the Farmers market provides the essential healthy food that under served families need.
Our Farmer's Market also increases the quality of life in general by providing a sense of place in the community. The people of Cass county and Logansport looks forward to gathering on market days, not only to shop, but also be communal with our neighbors.

The local Farmer's Market allows for healthy food choices and promotes healthy eating, but more importantly, it promotes local business that regenerates positive economic outcomes in our community during a time of economic hardships. The cultural aspect of the farmer's market is also important to our community. In today's electronic and disconnected society, gathering places and markets such as this that connect people together in person creates positive energy that gives way to further growth and change in our community.
