I support the Cape Ann Farmers Market because it has great fresh food, much of it organic, and locally grown. What could be better than that?

It's a great market, filled with local, fresh produce and vendors of natural foods and creative handicrafts. A great way to spend a summer afternoon with the family - there's music, kids' arts & crafts and everyone is happy to be there!

Fishing and farming were, and continue to be, essential to Massachusetts' coastal culture. The Cape Ann Farmers Market continues that tradition that nourished the earliest settlements in New England . And it's still going strong here on Cape Ann. The concerts afterwards are great, too!

The Cape Ann Farmers' Market is a great place to get amazing fresh and local food, but most of all I love going for the community. I always run in to people I know and am excited to see. Thanks to all the volunteers and producers that have made this such a success. I am so proud to live in a community that supports such a great event.

I like knowing where my food comes from - that it is healthy, grown without pesticides and supports community. The CAFM is a great place and wonderful addition to the city of Gloucester.

Fresh is best....and now we can have fresh local food naturally and often organically grown....with all the nutrients going right into our bodies....and we keep our local farmers and community members working and thriving.

Food TASTES great (a tomato tastes like a tomato and not a potato), it supports local farmers, is better for our local economy AND it's great fun!

In a community where fresh local produce and product options are limited this market is making it happen. It's grown tremendously in the few years it's existed and it's become a central meeting and greeting point for townies and holidaymakers alike. It's a summer highlight on Cape Ann.

It is a wonderful community event that is teaching us all (including our kids) to eat fresh, local food, and to support the farmer's who grow it. It also is a venue for showcasing the talents of many creative people who live amongst us.

It is healthier to eat fresh organic produce and it is nice to have the comunity involved in something that our children will gorw up saying they were part of a farmers market.

I support the CAFM because it helps bring community together in a central meeting place for healthy food. There is something for all, young, old, and in between! Free entertainment is very nice in the summer especially during hard times when we have little extra money for anything else. Thank you!

We have farmer's markets in new york and they are a mainstay of community and health in the city. Gloucester deserves the best too.
