Love having the fresh produce. These people put alot of work into getting their produce to us and it is always fresh and delicious.

Their chamber works hard to make this event available and appealing for not just York but surrounding communities as well!

They have some of the best food I have ever eaten at a open market. They usually have the same vendor which is great especially when one week you look at the item and the next week your still able to purchase it. I also like the fact that everyonce in awhile they have new things and it seems to get better every year.

The food and crafts are great. It's only 5 blocks from my house. There's always plenty of people to visit with and music to enjoy.

The friendly atmosphere with live music makes each week's market the place to be. The Chamber of Commerce works very hard to keep the Farmer's Market in the public's attention.

The atmosphere at the Farmers Market is the best. The crowd hovers over the freshest produce, goods baked that day and crafts made since the previous week's market all waiting for the bell to ring at 5:00 signalling the selling can begin. All the while the live music plays and you run into friends and neighbors who wish to enjoy a visit for a few minutes. It's the best!

It is vital to support events in our community such as this. Also--the sweet corn is great!

They have great fresh vegetables, and a variety of other items. The fellowship is great. Our Chamber does a great job in getting it orgainzed.

It is a wonderful boost to our downtown & a chance to buy great baked goods and fresh produce-also allows for a booth for my favorite charity York Adopt-A-Pet.

It is the coolest! Not only is the produce the freshest, there is so much more, like fresh bakery items. All sorts of items are being sold and there is music, food and fun. Anyone can come and enjoy the atmosphere and have something to eat while visiting with friends and neighbors.

York Towne Centre Farmers' Market provides an evening of entertainment without having to make a plan. I know that on Thursday at 5, I can stroll through the shaded green lawn, chat with friends, listen to delightful music, eat a wonderful meal that I didn't have to cook, and find fresh produce, custom meats, homemade pastries and preserved foods to take home to bring variety to my meals. The pottery, jewelry, and other arts and crafts are like icing on the cake! Going to the York Towne Centre Farmers' Market is the highlight of my summer evenings.

They have such a large variet of DIFFERENT items! Something for everyone....and it is well organized.

We visit York yearly in the summer and always buy Summer Sausage as well as other items from the wonderful people at the York Towne Centre Farmer's Market. Parents had 4 retail stores around the square so we like to keep business growning in YORK. Friendly, helpful vendors!! Activities there during YorkFest. It is the best around!

Clean, lively, & several stands with a large variety of crafts, fresh veggies and foods. The crowd of people tells you how well it is accepted. Alot of fun!!!

Its easily the best Farmer's Market in all of Nebraska! Conveniently located in the middle of York. Being a rural community in the heart of the country, I shouldn't even have to mention the great quality of the wonderful food products found. The people you see and meet there are uncommonly pleasant and its always a good time!

It's great. IT brings our small community together on Thursday nights the way nothing else has. The homemade, homegrown and handmade items for sale there are a wonderful treat. The York Towne Centre Farmer's Market enriches our lives in York.

This is more than a market. It is a community event each week, with sponsors and entertainment set right in the heart of the city.

Out here in the middle of corn and cattle country, it's nice to be able to get my hands on homegrown tomatoes and peppers. I also love being able to browse the artistic offerings, be they of the crafts, music or food variety. There's a heckuva lot of talent in this area, and it all comes together at the Farmer's Market.

Our farmers market just creates a great vibe downtown. Not to mention everything is fresh or homemade. It is so nice to see fresh from the field products or taste homemade colachies from a real czech.

Besides the great fresh produce, baked goods and food vendors, it has once again brings back the social aspect of open nights on the downtown square on Thursday nights. Years ago it was "Egg and Cream Night" and that's when everyone came to town on Saturday night to do their trading, stayed late and caught upon all of the local news.What a great addition to our local community! Thanks to The York Area Chamber of Commercer taking this on.
