I'm a Jersey girl and Farms are important...period!!! Any and all Farmers Markets deserve support in any way possible! Why not Certified Arkansas Farmers Market!

Food grown locally sold by the folks who grow them. I like that. Great location.

We NEED to support local businesses that deliver quality goods and services at a fair price...CFAM does just that in a friendly atmosphere right in NLR.

They always have a great variety of fresh, beautiful produce, plants and flowers. A great variety of herbs and the friendliest people anywhere who are selling and buying at the market.

Variety and range of local product including: fruits; vegetables; cheeses; breads; pastas; meats, and jams.

Fresh foods at a great price in a convenient downtown location with plenty of free parking! What's not to love?

This market has entergized the local farmers in the Central Arkansas area. They know that the market values local produce/products and provides a setting where anyone interested in good, local food can purchase these items. They are friendly and provide opporunities for everyone to participate either as a local producer or consumer. The Basket a Month program allowed many people to participate in obtaining local foods and a steady market for the producers. Kudos to Jody Hardin.

The Argenta CAFM is one of the best run farmers markets in the midwest! It is good for the farmers and good for the people of central Arkansas. Great selection and quality. The atmosphere is wonderful! A great experience!

Well, the CAFM is located 2 blocks from my house so I can walk over with my shopping bags in hand. The farmers are great! They take time to visit with you and answer your questions. You get to know them as individuals, not just as farmers on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Yes, the variety of produce and the quality of the produce helps too!

It is the only completely local and ORGANIC farmers market in AR. CAFM really is the best market in Little Rock.

Quality, service, variety, and ORGANIC. At other Farmer's Markets there are lots of venders who simply buy from wholesalers. at the CAFM in North Little Rock, the venders are the growers. I don't go anywhere else, though I could.

The food is always so tasty ! This market also inlcuded fresh baked goods and fresh pasta, yummy !

CAFM is the BEST Farmer's Market around! Jody Hardin is a great market manager and brings in only quality, fresh, Arkansas products. It's always a treat and I buy ALL my vegetables only from CAFM!!

I've gone to this farmer's market off and on for years - the fruits and veggies are always fresh! They usually have vendor or two with fresh cut flowers and herbs. This market is also in a great location - close to the river and good restaurants.

The farmers are friendly and I know where my food is coming from. The CSA/BAM program (Basket a Month) is fantastic!

Good focus on local sources and quality produce! Even for products that don't accumulate pesticides, organic production is a way to long-term environmental stewardship.

The people who operate it are exceptional - committed to their products and their customers, but also to the whole community. They find ways to help outside of work, which can be rare because of the heavy demands of farming.

Arkavores love this market where we can buy food from the people who produce it. It tastes better, is more nutritious and reduces the use of fossil fuels. Plus, when we spend locally, we're helping ourselves.

The market is an amazing collection of local farmers working to care for the earth as they care for the poeple who live on it. The produce, milk products, eggs (better get there early!), and organic meats are as good as good gets--even the worms in the top of the corn (a sure and joyful sign of organic production) are healthy and well-fed! It takes me at least two hours to shop because the farmers are all so helpful, friendly, and willing to share expertise. The presence and growth of this market have made local food available, trustworthy, and I hope profitable enough to keep every hippie and non-hippie farmer in business forever. The best feature of all is the monthly baskets. I'm hooked for good!

The fruits and vegetables are the freshesh and best tasting I have every found. The farmers are friendly and informative.

I can always find fresh, locally-grown, tasty food at CAFM. Not just fruits and vegetables, either, but beefalo, chicken, eggs, cheese - everything I need for a healthy, well-rounded diet.

As both a grower and customer, my wifer and I have sold at many markets over the years including the 'Green Market' in downtown Manhatten. Yet this "Certified Arkansas Farmers Market" is large enough to make sales yet small enough to get to know your fellow farmers and customers by name. The market managers have set up wonderful by laws and regulations so it is fair and all locally (Arkanas) grown produce. They come visit your farm and verify that your are growing what you sell, plus help you advance in the techniques of selling (Most farmers are great at the growing part, but selling to a member of the public tends to scare most a bit!!). This is our favorite market by far!!

It is important to support local farmers and natural farming practices in order to : a. be healthy b. conserve our local heritage c. support business practices that are fair d. put our dollars into the local economy e. stay connected to our food sources f. but certainly not least: EAT A DELICIOUS AND DIVERSE SELECTION OF SEASONAL FOODS, LEARN WONDERFUL RECIPES, AND COMMUNE WITH GROWERS.

CAFM is a market run by farmers, for farmers. The charter group took a risk in launching this local-only, fair trade market network, and I'm thrilled to see it taking root in the community and feeding an even larger vision of access to local foods in stores, restaurants and schools.

Where else do you get a hug with your weekly grocery shopping? This market has all locally grown/produced goods and some of the most amazing farmers and volunteers you'll ever meet. After just over a year in operation, it already has a great selection of meats, dairy, vegetables, fruits, eggs, plants, breads, pastas, personalities, and more. It also serves as a pick up and sign location for a a multi-farmer, monthly CSA. Together with the community, the folks who run it are working hard to get local food into our homes, restaurants, and schools.

This is the best place to find local foods such as eggs, cheese, vegetables, fruits and flowers. All from nearby farmers. We love it!

Great food & great farmers. I know I won't ever be a farmer, but I am always thankful that there are good people who embrace what must at times be a very hard life.

I am just a home gardener but my garden is late this year. Had a few squash and jalepenos, but tomatoes have not come in yet. So what does one do to find "home grown" goodies. First you find good folks with a smile and when you ask a question you get a straight answer. Then you are satisified. As the name indicates - all products are certifiably grown in Arkansas. Also - good selection. In addition to produce and meat you can buy pasta, bread, flowers, cookies and more. Plus, it's fun. There's sometimes live music to shop or dance to. Next door they've added an All-Arkansas art market. Good food. Good times.

CAFM has an excellent selection of local, organic produce and products! Plus, the farmers and vendors are all very friendly and are happy to answer any questions. Makes me hungry just thinking about it!

This is a wonderful market! I was living in LR at the time that it opened and it's so wonderful to see things like this being put in place to support truly local food and growers.

Small scale fits with the size of the community. The rules of the market ensure that I am getting locally grown produce.

I support independant local farmers who care about honest farming that is respective of the land and all on it, who supply good food in season, not what looks good and travels well. I urge all of my patients and co-workers to go here for real health food.

Because once you meet Jody Hardin, you can't help but get behind whatever he's doing. I love knowing I'm getting great food and supporting local farmers, and CAFM is also just a fun place to take my kid to on a Saturday morning. Great cinnamon rolls, and great people-watching.

I love fresh produce and love to support our local farmers. Without them, my life would be depleated of such great nutrition and fun. The farmers market in North Little Rock is great and very friendly. Even if I am not in need of fruits, veggies, meat, eggs, flowers (the list could go on and on) for the week, I still like to go and enjoy the atmosphere. Keep up the great work NLR!

All sellers are local farmers with great produce. The first all local market in our area.

Local farmers who know Arkansas; they are always willing to help the urban backyard farmer by sharing their extensive lore!

Only farmers who actually grow/raise their own produce/animals are allowed to sell in this market, and most of them are organic. The variety of heirloom vegetables is great fun. Quality is excellent. FResh pasta is also available, as are vegetarian doggies treats. And the cinnamon rolls are tasty, too. It's a fun place to spend an hour or two.

So many larger farmer's markets today function as nothing more than outdoor supermarkets, with vendors buying foods from wholesalers and selling it as something it's not (those of you who have seen pineapples at local markets recently know what I'm talking about). Every booth at the Certified Arkansas Farmer's Market is real farmers selling food they've grown and harvested. The quality is amazing, stays fresh for weeks, and I never have to wonder whether I'm getting duped about the origin of my food.

When I come to the Certified Arkansas Farmers Market I never have to wonder where my food was grown or how it was grown. I know it is from Arkansas and I know it was grown by caring, dedicated farmers who care about their work and my health and plate!

Love the local produce, love knowing where it comes from, love getting to meet the folks who actually grew what we are eating in our home!

I love this market, their values, and their dedication to support local farmers and growers. Their products are always top-notch, extremely fresh, and the best quality. The founders, Jody Hardin and Barbara Armstrong, are true visionaries who really care about what they do - and they've done some amazing things over the past years.

Local produce. Tastes like home. I grew up on a farm and this is the next best thing to picking it out of the garden.

They have amazing variety and are very organized for such a new farmer's market.

They have such a great set up and the produce is bar none the best. I love the people there as well.

The Certified Arkansas Farmers Market is changing the way my family eats. Arkansas farmers need a fair trade market, and we reached out to the community to build this economic engine for farmers. Its working and our customers are like family to the CAFM farmers. We are so lucky!

Argenta Farmers Market is the best Certified Arkansas Farmers Market in Arkansas!!!

Not only is everything local grown and produced, but also when one buys from the farmers directly, one buys from the very people who best know how to prepare the food in question. I have gotten innumerable recipes or preparation suggestions from the farmers at Certified Arkansas Farmers Market, and I am eating splendidly these days.

My brother is one of the local growers that utilize the Certified Arkansas Farmers Market. I hate to admit that I had never gone to the market before this year. I have gone several times and have been impressed with the variety of produce and other locally made items that are available for purchase. The concept behind the market is a simple one, allow only local growers to sell and make it easily available to the public. I'm also grateful that so many of the growers have taken on the complicated task of becoming USDA certified organic. This Farmer's Market is fantastic

CAFM respects it growers and collaborates with them to create a system that works for all. CAFM leadership has a true vision and feasible plan for a sustainable local food system that includes all the necessary support for local growers. They could use more funds to spread this message. I don't think they have a very big advertising budget now - most of it has been grassroots and word-mouth, which is good, but more is needed. The majority of people still don't know the difference between CAFM and other markets that do not support and promote local food systems.

I appreciate greatly the fact this is a REAL farmer's market: Only seasonal produce from actual small farmers, not people who've bought stuff from commercial suppliers to resell. The quality is exceptional, the people are great!

It is a great Market that only allows Certified Arkansas Farmers products. There are no outside vendors allowed. This certification guarantees locally grown quality food products and support of our local small farm culture.

CAFM recruits ONLY cerfified Arkansas farmers and growers. It's produce, flowers and baked goods from here in the state, FRESH!! CURRENT! SWEET! (another farmers market across the river lets in farmers who bring bulk produce from out of state, snuffing out the local farmer.) Hooray for fresh, state grown produce!

The farmers are really great to talk to and the food is always fresh and great tasting!

The produce is so fresh and flavorful and it is locally grown. I also love that meat and eggs are available. And the fresh pasta!
