This market is situated in a great central location on a great day of the week which makes it very accessible. The produce is great, very much variety and plenty to choose from. I love supporting local farms!!

This a wonderful morning-to-afternoon market, full of people dedicated to supporting one another in their endeavors to provide local and fresh food.

It is heartening to see the continued blossoming of a sustainable economy here.This is so relevant for a multiplicity of reasons not limited to but including that it: Supports a local, sustainable economy for all of us living here; encour- ages others to join in on cocreating this economy which also generates momentum for success on this plane; Shows the viability for creating a local economic market, thus others can 'catch fire' ; strengthens the the positive movement foward on the forefront of the evolutionary step foward into local sustainable economies.

Ditto all the other comments, Plus there are several different vendors on Saturday than there are at the Tuesday Farmers' Market. I like to buy there to support local sustainable agriculture. Also, the market provides educational opportunities for people of all ages.

Saturday Market is always fun, besides being a great way to buy fresh and healthful produce.

It's a fun and practical way to enjoy a Saturday morning in Ashland as I do yard sales. I get goodies to eat, have fun seeing friends, and have great conversations with the venders.

Local food from local growers with friends & family in the heart of Historic Downtown Ashland.

Besides all the wonderful fresh foods, I love running into neighbors and have also made friends of some of the vendors. If I didn't go to the farmers market I would miss them. It's also a great opportunity to learn first hand about the food you are eating direct form the sources it comes from.

While I don't live near the market, my niece raves about the produce and how wonderful it is as a neighborhood gatherine place.

I love the farmers and the food, the good deals on plants. We can ride our bikes and on Saturday we don't have to miss work. The bike clinic has helped us with our bikes. We learn about food and gardening and sustainable living and events at local farms.

I've supported the Tuesday Ashland Market for years. It's great to have another market a few days later so we can have the freshest produce all week! There is a great variety of vendors - farmers, nurseries, and crafts, often along with some great musicians to entertain us while we shop.

It's inspiring to get to know the farmers and see their dedication, great to connect with the community and yummy! The best!

Local and organic; what more could we ask for? The Ashland Saturday Market is a place to see friends and buy produce and cheese for the week. I always feel connected to my community when I go there.

Ashland's Saturday Market is an intimate community market right in the middle of downtown Ashland ---an easy bike ride or walk from just about every Ashland neighborhood. Friendly farmers, fresh produce, homegrown meats and farm made cheese with local musicians jamming under the musician's tent--all come together for a great community experience. Tourists visiting the Oregon Shakespeare festival can stop by to pick up ingredients for a great healthy picnic in nearby Lithia Park and get a taste of what small town, sustainable communities are all about.
