We can ride out bikes from downtown and park them under watchful eyes, walk around and indulge in the many foods there. Buy gifts from the vendors and see samplings of art work!! It is the best!!

I live in Riverside of Jacksonville, it is quit possibly the best location for a market. Under one of our seven bridges, constantly shaded and protected from the weather, plus it's right on the river. A great view of our skyline. Great mix of produce and the arts!

It's got a fantastic location on the river, which keeps it cooler on those hot summer days. It's also got a fantastic collection of vendors. I can go shopping for my dinner party and get most of what I need right there. The artists' booths are great to see (and buy from). There are lots and they change.

Fresh, local, seasonal organic produce...fresh baked breads and pastries...native Florida herbs, flowers, and other plants....locally roasted coffee beans...art and music from up and coming local artists and musicians...dog friendly...plenty of bicycle racks and even a bike valet...cool breezes off the St. John's River to offset the hot and humid Florida summers...what's not to love?

It is an ingenius use of a previously vacant section of downtown, which usually does not draw people to it on the weekends. They make everyone feel welcome and Safe. Every city should and can have one of these !!! Great Job to All !!!

RAM is at the perfect and best location since it's front of St. Johns River and is accessible to the riverwalk - very nice walk path for people to walk, bike, or run before, during, or after RAM. Also the RAM's under the bridge - give us a good shade and also protect us from rain. It sells local fresh fruit and vegs as well as local artists, and so on.... Hope that it will eventaully open on Sundays and open through the year!

I have been a vicarious participant during creation of the Riverside Arts Market..via internet newsletters sent out by Tony, Brandy, Shannon and the crew. Haven't ever met these people nor even crossed their paths. Yet, the passion they convey by their constant committment for the Market to remain in their community, is uplifting and contagious. I did not intend to become part of this happening but I got caught up in the enthusiasm and increasingly wonderful outcomes for participants and buyers alike. I do not know how much money this Market has made but the positive process it creates between others is priceless. So, yes, yes, yes, I support the Riverside Arts Market because it gives space to walk outside our daily "so important stuff" and connect with others... simply with a smile over a baby or of course, "a good buy". In conclusion, I also support the Riverside Art Market becasue it allows peopel to become more educated and appreciate life styles different from thier own. This in turn brings more openess into the community, knitting people together who never would have otherwise made the acquaintance, however brief. So thank you Riverside Arts Market Crew. Thank you for all the millions of minutes you have given of yourselves, for it brings the belief and vision that we are all one a little closer to home.

RAM is a unique market with an awsome atmosphere. It's in an amazing location right on the river. With breezes off the river through out the day, everyday is a beautiful day at RAM. There is wide range of arts to browse and choose from. You'll see everything from modern, contemporary paintings to the more country and classic arts and crafts. Not to mention the Farmers Market is out of this world.

I first visited last Saturday 8/8. I was taken right away by the location, under the bridge and on the river with a nice breeze. I was watching Warren Floyd perform while enjoying a crab cake sandwich (OMG Good) and a glass of tea and it occured to me that there was no other place that I would rather be. This will be a regular Saturday routine for me. Great Job folks!

It is a friendly, safe and clean atmosphere. The staff care about the community. It was apparent when the staff set up a bench for a talented but down on his luck man ( and his son) to interact with people and show off his wood carving skills. This act of kindness touched my heart and made me see the good in our community. I offered to help this man as best I could but when I saw what the staff did for him it just brought tears to my eyes.

This place is awesome! It is exactly the venue Jacksonville needed. It's cultural, it's diverse, it's welcoming, it's friendly (adults, children and pets), it's fresh and convenient, it's budget friendly and there's a variety of entertainment, etc. Kudos to whomever thought of bringing this to the Riverside area - it couldn't have been in a better place - and it's open Rain or Shine! When I go, I'm there for hours; shopping, browsing, listening, watching, having lunch, etc. This is the one place in Jacksonville that I do not mind the traffic...LOL!
