Healthy, fresh food is hard to find in the city, and the Oakland Farmer's Market makes it easy for students like me to obtain the delicious, home-grown foods that remind me of home.

They sell reasonably priced, delicious, non-processed foods to an area full of college students hungry for just that. It's all locally grown by fantastic people who live in and care about our schools and people.

Lots of choice, great produce and fruit, friendly people, local small farmers. Just a great place all around.

Locally grown produce; real farmers - not factory farms; wonderful people. A fantastic alternative to the limited choice in grocery stores in our area.

I go to all the Pittsburgh markets and Oakland is such a diverse and exciting market. The space for the market is small but you can't believe how much is there. You find yourself being called to each table and spending time hearing the stories of all of the vendors.

Fantastic urban market enjoyed by residents, students and area hospital, university and other workers. Makes fresh food available in an area lack lack easy access to that neccesity.

The Oakland Farmer's Market has brought fresh, local produce to a residential neighborhood, business district, University and Medical Center that has lacked any access to fresh food.
