Not a good look when you see the owner of this Deli meat business blowing his nose, then proceed to unwrap a meat product and handle the meat for tasting, not bothering to wash or sanitize his hands.
So it's a Big No Thanks for your product from me and my family who attended Farmers Market on the 30th of June 2024.

Hastings has an amazing farmer's market- incredible choices, great folk both buying and selling , both fresh from the grower ( or butcher or fisher) and cooked ( in a variety of cuisines). There are artisan crafts of all sorts too. It is alot of fun to go and meander and let your imagination roam. Live music makes it better. And it has the feeling of a progressive mindset for those also interested in worthy social causes and the environment. Dog-friendly. Parking is easy too. All in all definitely 5 of 5!

"Everything about it is appealing" -- the variety and quality of the food, the atmosphere, the setting, the people, the fun emails highlighting events connected with the market. It's a Sat. AM feature to which we look forward with great pleasure. Love it! Definitely 5 stars!

It's a terrific, friendly market in the middle of a wonderful little town filled with people with smiles on their faces. Which is as it should be since all the participating markets have people with smiles on their faces as well! By the way the fruits, vegetables and cheeses can't be beat for freshness. It's also right next door to the Hastings library.

Fabulous organic produce, meats, breads and cheeses. And the market is an outdoor community center each Saturday -- a place to grab a cup of coffee, chat with neighbors, and hear great music. We also are loving the new prepared food section; who knew chicken tikka masala and mojito ice pops went so well together!

I travel from the Bronx to this lower Westchester market for the freshest fish imaginable caught off Long Island, wonderful vegetables, fresh-picked fruit, and artisanal cheese. All this comes with an unsurpassed view of the Hudson River and Palisades, shoppers so happy cheer radiates from them and farmers who are as gracious as they are hard-working. And I leave knowing I've helped preserve the rural landscape and a way of life in the Hudson Valley.

The Hastiungs Farmer Market is the best I've ever seen. I'm there every Saturday unless I'm out of town, and I buy food for members of my family not fortunate to live close enough to the market. The variety of foods and produce is amazing. Everything is fresh and delicious. The farmers and other food vendors are all friendly and helpful. Where else can you buy fresh meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, baked goods all in one place. During the summer most of our family dinners consist of purely of products purchased from the market. We are truly lucky to have such a great market.
