have been going there for over 40yrs with many of the same vendors, and have never gotten anything that was not fresh there

They have a huge variety of fruits and vegetables. They also have 3x/week which is convenient.

It was the first in the Pittsburgh area and is still one of, if not the, largest farmer's markets in the county. The same local farmers have come for many years. The customers know them and they know their customers. And the variety and freshness of the offerings can't be beat. Everything looks so good that I can never resist buying more than my refrigerator can hold!

Local, fresh, vegetables, pastries, flowers,fruits from orchards,and sandwiches too. Better prices.
