It's the ultimate Farmers Market - fine local vegetables, fruits, flowers, meats, cheeses, soaps, yarns (some already knitted), ice cream, fresh coffee and cider donuts, and live music, with happy vendors and shoppers greeting, meeting, buying, and eating - on the grounds of the fabulous Hill-Stead Museum! What could be better?

The Hill-Stead Farmers Market features produce and goods from local farmers in a beautiful historic setting. It's a Sunday hangout for all the neighbors on the lawn of our Town's most precious historic property.

I love going to the regional market in Hartford but it is mostly limited to flowers and fruit. An expanded market would be a big draw for the area.

Wonderful selection of produce - much of it organic. The setting is lovely and my children especially love the live music - and fresh doughnuts!

This is a nice, small farmers market. It's much nicer with a much better selection than the West Hartford farmers market which thinks way too much of itself. It's a great Sunday morning family outing. Great coffee and doughnuts. Great music and a wonderful setting.

It's at a convenient time for me, and in a beautiful setting. Great variety of loyal vendors, plus live "homegrown" music and a community information table. What more could I want?

We support Hill-Stead Museum Farmer's Market as it is one of the most comprehensive markets in the area. There are wonderful fruits and vegtables, herbs, breads, flowers and fresh meats as well as a local Gelato vendor. The addition of a local guest artist, playing fiddle or guitar, adds great color against the backdrop of the beaucolic grounds of the Hill-Stead.

What better way to buy locally grown, organic produce and products then on a lovely estate (now a National Historic House Musuem and Grounds) that was once a working farm. Not only can you purchase fresh items for dinner, but you can walk the nature trails then view works by Monet, Degas, and Cassatt! Pure heaven for me!

The Farmer's Market at Hill-Stead is well-organized, clean, and consistently offers a wide variety of goods to choose from. The setting is by far the most beautiful and pleasant I have experienced for a market, and it's not too far from anywhere.
