We went to the Sunbury Market house on Feb 19th, which was the day they were doing a local crafter event in conjunction with V-Day. We had a blast. There was live music, there was great crafters. The Lady there makes an awesome whoopee pie. The ladies who man the food stand also make awesome food, and for $1.35, you cannot beat that for a grilled cheese sandwich that was super cheesy. The live music was a Dulcimer player, which was neat to watch and beautiful to listen to. The regular vendors for meats and produce were all super nice and had great items. There were free samples from Village eating house dressings and Backwoods BBQ sauces.

All told it was a great market day, the addition of all the different hand crafters made it an awesome day. We are looking forward to the next event In March.

sunbury market house is a land mark in sunbury pa. friendly people nice atmoshere but since under new management certain vendors are not wanted there ! i use to vend there every winter. people would come in to christmas shop, there was a variety of produce and meat as well as antiqus and as i sold new merchandise but now they only want food vendors so some of us will miss the freindships we've made over the years ! the small talk and to listen to the jokes of a few .the sad thing is with out the variety the market use to offer it just won't be the same ! i want to thank all my customers who have patronized my buisness over the years and again say thank you ! i wish nelson' bob 'gay and the rest of the old timers there good luck and may your buisness continue to prosper !! sincerly walter's gifts and collectibles !

We have recently changed our policies to only allow locally grown or produced goods. We believe that this is in the best interests of the market and the farmers and small business people it supports. We do host craft fairs on occasion and have a more open policy for those events.
