Ditto to what others are describing: with incredible attention paid to careful packing we got zero breakage - and they gave us an extra egg! (I'm not sure if that was an accident but it was nice.) I personally find duck egg yolks a little too sticky and viscous for over easy, but I LOVE them boiled - they are perfect! And they make really fantastic deviled eggs. This is a great vendor and I'll be buying more from them soon.

I decided to try duck eggs, could not find a local source. Found Iacona Farm on Local Harvest site.
I have placed 2 orders for the duck eggs, and am very satisfied with them - none were broken, they were packed very well (first time surprised by the wood shavings, 2nd time knew better how to open the box). Shipping was very quick - and I am a long way across NYS from Long Island. I will order one more dozen eggs before the weather warms up because I'm not sure about shipping eggs in warm-er weather, and hope I can find a local source by then. Eggs are delicious!

Very impressed with these eggs. I am a retired farmer that kept ducks for their eggs for 50 years, liked them better then chicken eggs. But have been very disappointed in the few I have found for sale since I retired from farming, until I placed an order from this site with this farmer. WOW just like how mine looked and tasted. The eggs are VERY well packed and clean. I placed two orders so far and out of 4 dozen eggs shipped all across the country to me only one was slightly cracked, but I used it and it was just fine. Recommend these eggs very highly.

I also purchased these duck eggs through Local Harvest website.
Normally I buy duck eggs from local farms in the summer and early fall, but none carry them during the winter months. So I was very happy to discover that Iacono farm can fill this void. I was also happy to read that they offer free domestic shipping - otherwise it would take me 3.5hr drive one-way to get to their farm in East Hampton, NY. I ordered 4 dozen duck eggs and hoped for the best. The delivery was very prompt! I received 2 packages containing 4 dozen egg cartons in each.
Upon opening up each one of the egg cartons I discovered 6 very large, evenly spaced duck eggs with the remaining spaces in between all packed tightly to the top with fresh wood shavings. (You might want to consider how to handle all the those wood shavings so they do not spread everywhere.)
Out of 4 dozen eggs only one was broken! This is amazing because packages do not get handled especially careful (even when they are marked as fragile) by our delivery service.
These eggs are very large, very good quality and are worth their price! Thanks so much for all the work and care involved.
I will order them again.

I live in MT and purchased these eggs through Local Harvest website. The eggs arrived very quickly and none of the eggs were broken. There was only 1 egg out of the 24 I purchased that was bad...I cant eat chicken eggs and the duck eggs are great for cooking, baking or scrambled or in an omelet. They are also more nutritious than chicken eggs. I would definitely purchase these again. Just so glad that I could buy them and have them shipped..
