We love Kapenga Farm. We get our chickens and eggs there. (Yes, we are distantly related. Through talking to the owner and playing "DUTCH BINGO" we figured out that we are distant cousins.) Our kids love seeing the chickens and turkeys, and we love knowing where our food comes from. Eat Local!

I just recently started getting chicken and eggs from Kapenga Farms and I loved it. The chicken tastes better, more of it and you know you are eating chicken without GMO's or additional ingredients. The eggs were great too! I'm excited to try their turkey this year for thanksgiving.

I was a little nervous buying from a farm directly since I had never done it before but the office was easy to find, everything was labeled and they had a calculator to help you total everything up. (If you are like me I bought a ton and it would have taken me a while to figure it out!)

It is a little out of the way for me since I live in Jenison but knowing that my family is eating the best, most healthy chicken I can get without raising them ourselves...it is worth the drive!

We have been eating Kapenga chicken for a few years and I LOVE it. It is the primary meat we eat in our house. My mother, aunt and uncle are also big fans this chicken. The chicken is delicious, and I can't wait to provide the turkey for this year's Thanksgiving. I am so proud and greatful that my 1 year old daughter will be growing up eating this healthy, chemical free chicken. The Kapengas are a wonerful family, and it is a joy to be able to support a local farm. Thank you Kapenga family, for doing what you are doing!!!

I had a family dinner in October and cooked a turkey from Kapenga's, which was the best turkey I have tasted. My family was here visiting and they remarked about how delicious it was. We could definitely taste the difference between this and a store bought one!

Really liked the chicken. Yes, you can taste the difference from what you get in the store! Plus these birds have more meat on their bones than what you buy elsewhere. That's what I liked the best. One chicken was enough for two meals. My kids fought over who got to eat the drumsticks....they loved the chicken too!!

One more thing I liked was the vacuum-sealed packing. It kept the chicken really fresh and storing it in the freezer was easier than having it bagged.
