I purchased 2 live turkeys prior to Thanksgiving also. We used to butcher 250 broilers every spring as a kid, you know chop the heads off and watch them flop around. Francis showed me a more humane way to slaughter poultry by hanging them by their feet. Even with large turkeys this worked so slick. They didn't suffer or bruise. My daughter and I picked out 2 and dressed them later that morning. I smoked one and oven roasted the other. Both were excellent of course the smoked one disappeared first. Mark

I bought a couple turkeys for Thanksgiving and they were great! Much higher quality than what you buy in the store, and at an affordable price! The turkeys had great flavor and I had the satisfaction of knowing that it was raised locally. I would gladly buy turkeys again from FJM Produce!
