What a great break from the Ohio winters. Just celebrated their 1 yr. anniversary with cooking contest open to all of their local growers. Great local foods and an opportunity to meet the folks who provide these wonderful products. Had a great time. Very professional and caring manager. Wide array of items. Great line of meats, produce, cheeses, goat soaps, baked goods, etc.

Very friendly and helpful volunteer staff and producers.

Glad we joined!

We haven't missed a Saturday yet, and we make it a point to buy as many useful items as the market can bring. We are eager as to the prospects in the spring and summer. But why wait until then to open; you just got your wagons in a row and headed west, or here, anyway. You opened right up like poets words and are now part of us.

Now let's get those refrigerator units in place and set up the misting system for the produce aisle, and bring more local vendors into contact with more local buyers. Invite the crafters, the artisans, musical types, and all.

As Captain Picard put it, "Whenever one of us does something intelligent, we all win."

With Local Roots, we all win.

The opening day for this indoor/year-round market was incredible!

What a well organized, refreshingly progressive approach to promoting fresh-local food and products...and here in NE Ohio of all places!

Hats off to the diversified group of forward thinkers for taking a risk and following their vision to demonstrate how we truly DO HAVE POWER over our food source choices.

I also must commend Buehler's Markets for looking beyond their own profit margins and donating to this worthy endeavor.

If this first event is an indicator, GREAT THINGS are in store for the Wooster, Ohio and surrounding communities.

Now it is up to us all to thank them for their efforts and think outside the "BOX" when we make our food gathering decisions.
