This food coop is an excellent way to buy local food and locally made products. It is web based buying with a local pick-up spot where you can meet some of the farmers and talk to them about their products and farms. I purchased excellent grass finished meat and bread from a local farm, and it was delicious! There are a lot of products to choose from: clothing, teas, baked goods, soaps, meat, jewelry, honey, some vegetables, and cheese, to name a few. The web site has very helpful information about each producer too. The effort right now is focused in north central Massachusetts; but, I am sure it will take root in other parts of the state soon.
