Batten Bay Farm is committed to all aspects of sustainable farming. Not only does Danny farm in a way that is respectful to human health and environmental health, but he also spends a lot of time educating the community about sustainable farming techniques. He and his family make Hampton Roads a better place to live and eat.

We've been buying from Batten Bay Farm at the Portsmouth Farmers' Market and have enjoyed every mouthful! Wonderful organic heirloom tomatoes, tender squash, onions, potatoes, beans, and greens and more--all delicious. The market is closed for the season, so we'll probably head out to the farm for any cold crops they manage to produce. Great food, great prices.
