The turkey we bought from Scappoose Farms last year was delicious! It was juicy and had great flavor. You can definitely taste the difference of a bird grown with care locally. We came back and ordered another one for this Thanksgiving!

I visited Scappoose Farms to see how they're raising their Heritage turkeys. The turkeys have lots of room to run in their enclosed run. While I was there, the turkeys were roaming about the upper pasture area filling up on bugs.

I was very pleased to see the way they were being treated; I bought my Thanksgiving turkey from them.
