After sinking my pearly whites for the first time into a rosemary-n-olive-oil infused, perfectly cooked and freshly de-feathered (as opposed to defenestrated) cute and cuddly little Placid-Farm chicken, my life was changed forever. Yep.
30 years on this globe, and I'd been robbed of the soft, succulent, glorious taste of little beasts like this who'd been trotting throughout green pastures the day before.
The sun set for that pudgy little being, but the sun rose for this happy (and healthier) new phase of life for my family: SUPERIOR TASTING FOOD!
PS And the social ritual of picking up the chicken from the chill crew at the farm was a nice bonus. Seeing the process and understanding it more was gray-matter stimulating. True Story. Keep up the good work, fellas! :)
