My husband and I have been buying our tree here for the past 3 years. Great service! We bought a newer type of tree. Very hearty tree and beautiful shape. Needles are a little prickly but worth it! It didn't seem to lose a lot of needles. We look forward to doing business again with this family owned farm.

My family and I visited Wintergreen Tree Farm for the first time this Thanksgiving, because we heard that they sold chestnuts. We bought a 10 pound bag that day, and within a day we ate them all. They are, bar none, the best chestnuts we have ever eaten. When you cook them, whether by roasting or microwave (yes, you can microwave chestnuts to cook them! A tip they shared with us when we visited...), the shell and inside skin come off so easily... The nuts just fall out whole, and they are DELICIOUS. We went back the very next day for a 25 pound bag, and ate chestnuts throughout Thanksgiving weekend. What a hidden gem you have in Mantua. This is going to be a regular Thanksgiving stop for us every time we visit Ohio...
