The two women who are JC Growers have word extremely hard for the past six years to develop a chemically free, non-GMO garlic farm that also grows a great variety of vegetables. They use heirloom, non-hybrid seed stock. They are out in their fields come rain or shine, planting, digging and weeding, thinning and harvesting totally by hand to bring to our local community the freshest, most natural produce around. The only machinery they use is a faithful old tractor (which frequently takes time off for rest and repair, lol) for plowing, and preparing their fields for planting. They market their products at the Mechanicsburg Farmers' and Artisans' Market on Tuesdays from 4-7 (St. Rt. 29 E going out of the Burg); the Champaign Co Farmers' Market in Urbana on Saturdays from 9-1 (behind the fire station); through the Champaign County Virtual Farm Market (see link on this website), and now at the Plain City Farmers' Market, Thursdays from 4:30 to 7:00. With over 11 different types of garlic, they have one to suit your taste. Their prices are affordable, their knowledge of garlic extensive, Go see the Garlic Ladies!

I ordered some garlic and other veg. I also contacted the farmer to see if I could order some things and get some things dirrectly she was awesome. I would suggest everyone work with her!
