Worms unavailable, no response to my calls
By: (Mar 26, 2014)
For several weeks I've been trying to order worms from them. First, I got an email response saying that they are not harvesting because of a "set back". I let two weeks go by, and tried calling them again to check on the status of the worms. I left a message and my call was never returned.

Thanks for your feedback--I admit, we are having a hard time getting back to phone calls during this super busy Spring Season of long days of worm casting harvesting, trying to plant spring crops, and going straight from work to kids' soccer and basketball tournaments. As a full time working farm in the middle of our busiest season, we have been begging for emails that can be answered during early morning or late night times, because stopping work to get to phone in the middle of the work day is really difficult(imagine mud on your hands and feet, trying to locate a pen in the middle of the warehouse or gardens, trying to hear over warehouse or outdoor noises, writing orders down, making sure you don't wash the order in your laundry, and getting it all inputted correctly late night after a full day of work and family). Emails really help us make sure we understand exactly what you want and try to determine the best time we will realistically be able to handle your order with the best customer service. Sincerely sorry for our let down on phone response, hope others will try us by email.

Heather is so passionate about what she does. From helping people set up their gardens, to breeding worms, to general evangelist for the environment. I have nothing but great things to say about Texas Worm Ranch.
