We absolutely LOVED our wonderful, healthy, lush vegetables of great variety this past growing season! It was a joy trying to keep up with the plentiful weekly supply.
Getting to know the salt-of-the-earth, ever cheerful, beautiful Romans family was an added bonus. Their farm in the hills above the Ohio River Valley is a lovingly tended place.
Not being used to some of the more southern-style veggies proved to be a fun challenge for finding recipes, though Nancy and Rachell helped with many suggestions and hints.
Now that the season is over, we miss our fresh vegetables, herbs and flowers, and look forward to next year.
