I have been a vendor at Hardwick Farmers' Market for 5 years & have watched it grow & change over that time. Just this season the market is jam-packed with vendors of all sorts; bread, desert, smoothie makers, humorous & beautiful hand-painted signs, wonderful ethnic food (French, Persian, Mexican, Pakistani, etc.), clothes, art, jewelry, walking sticks, maple syrup, woodenware (including men's ties!), taro & palm readings, chiropractic adjustments, worms/castings/compost bins & of course,
vegetables, berries, seedlings, annuals, perennials, shrubs & trees & more!
This is a very friendly & knowledgeible group of vendors, always happy to greet customers & help with purchases. Tasty samples at many booths & wonderful music, weekly!

1.The produce is fresh (organic for me) and I know the growers.
2. The organic crafted foods meet the highest standards and I know the producers. The same is true of non-food crafts and preserved foods, cheeses, and plants.
3. It is a friendly, weekly and varying community gathering with music by local performers, children's activities, occasional welcome surprises, and it draws visitors from away.

This is a great market which has grown tremendously over the years that I've been going. There are lots of great organic vegetable growers and a wonderful variety of other vendors. It's a fun place to be on a Friday afternoon, meeting and eating and laughing with fine folks in our fabulous community. Kids love it, too!

We try to go to the Hardwick Farmers Market every Friday from May to October for food and community. We find fresh organic vegetables raised by our friends, prepared foods and baked goods, amazing bread, plants, crafts, healing, live music, conversations with friends, meat, cheese, prepared foods, and lots more. All in all it is community at its finest.

Lots of great vendors, terrific atmosphere, entertainment and extremely kid friendly. We've watched this market grow from 1 or 2 vendors to an average of 30 or more over the last 10 years.
