The team at Prudent brings us local produce when it's available from Iowa farms, and even when it's not they are great at getting us fresh fruits and veggies that my kid love. We also get local milk, ice cream, meat, bread, maple syrup, honey, and olive oil from Prudent when we need it. We love that they are supporting so many small farms all across Iowa. Highly recommend!

Prudent Produce has been a great blessing for my family and I for almost two years now. When we started, we simply wanted a service that could bring all our fruit and vegetables needs. Today, almost all our grocery shopping is done directly through Prudent Produce! From the beef to the bread, everything you could need at a great price can be conveniently brought right to your door. What more can you want than that?

My family and I have been customers of Prudent Produce for over a year now and we love the service. The quality is the best in town and prices are comparable to the store. Never had any issues but my experience with the staff has been great. Also, try their organic eggs and grass fed beef, it is the best!

Angie the owner of Prudent Produce is horribly unprofessional! When I reached out to her she sent back a harsh and belligerent email telling me basically that she didn't care about what her customers thought. I have had many other people tell me they also had a horrible interaction with her when they would confront her about the service. This woman should not be in business.

Prudent Produce brings the best organic produce from through out the country to the doorsteps of Central Iowans. A service like this has been needed for years in Des Moines. The quality is top rated and the price is similar to local specialty stores and the "chain" stores. I have been very pleased with the individual service and special weekly newsletters. I recommend anyone who purchases produce from the store, organic or not, to try this service for a few weeks, you will be glad you did.
