For the same reason that the farmers put in hard work, long hours, and longer drives: becuase its something that they believe in. In such a small town the support is great and each and every person that is at the market is there becuase they believe in creating a greater community; picking up some great food; and supporting a Farmers market where the farmer is your friend, your family or your far away neighbor who has your interests in mind and would support you too!

Amazing group of AMAZINGLY dedicated Farmers, who come from very far distances over rough country roads, who provide Organic (non GMO-"genetically modified organisms"- Mendocino is the only county that fought and won this distinction over a long and exhausting battle with "monsanto") and that is why they get my vote.

We live in a small community...just over 1000 people. We have the most incredible market for such a little town!! Great vegies, music, friends, and even tie dye clothing!!! I love it!!!!!

Wonderful fresh produce and good energy....we need to support or local garnders...

Eating locally is the way to go...We are very rural and so blessed to have a market at all.
