I love the vegetables I get from Hawk Dance Farm. I buy at their farmers' markets as well as directly from their farm. This farm was a dream for Damon & Diane for many years and they have brought their dream to fruition through dedication, hard work and lots of love.

The farm is Certified Naturally Grown.I like the fact that they use no chemicals of any kind, their fossil fuel use is non existent because they do everything by hand. Labor intensive yes, but truly worth it because it shows in their vegetables, herbs, and flowers. They make lovely 100% Beeswax Candles using only beeswax from local beekeepers to support their fellow farmers.

They also have a small CSA which brings you a share box each week.

Damon and Diane are friendly, hardworking real people and you won't be disappointed I assure you!

Diane and Damon are the sweetest people - they remember you and your tastes, always encourage you to come visit, and grow the most delicious produce - fresh, varied, and plentiful. They also offer gorgeous handmade beeswax candles, which are unbelievably cheap. Their CSA shares are more reasonably priced than other local CSAs. Our favorite thing about them: They grown only veggies, herbs, and flowers and farm veganically - no animal by products used at all (with the exception of beeswax, if you are a vegan who avoids bee products). They're a smaller and newer farm than some - very well worth supporting. You can find them at the Millerton and (I think) Amenia Farmer's markets on the weekends and make arrangements to go out to their farm. They will deliver CSA shares to the markets if you make arrangements with them. We love Hawk Dance Farm!
