We have loved being part of the Need More Acres CSA this year. This an extremely comprehensive program that provides meats, dairy, and staples in addition to fruits and vegetables. The variety and convenience are great, and receiving our box each week has pushed us to try new foods, experiment with new recipes, and eat a greater range of fresh, local produce. It's a wonderful program, and one that my friends and family who live elsewhere envy. Plus, it comes with a great community of farmers and local families who share recipes, ideas, information and inspiration. I highly recommend this CSA - the Howells are wonderful!

I have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Need More Acres CSA. Nathan and Michelle and their family are truly wonderful people. Their passion for healthy, local food and helping their community are evident in all that they do. We learned so much about our food and how it grows. We were able to try some foods that we normally don't have at our house and it became a learning experience for our family that we really enjoyed. My son loved coming to the farm to pick veggies and see the chickens. We always felt welcome! Nathan and Michelle were always willing to answer our questions and help us come up with new ways to use our food. The produce was excellent quality and grown with love! We would recommend their CSA program to any and everyone.

After joining Need More Acres CSA I wondered what I was really getting into. Our weekly boxes were filled with an assortment of fresh produce, honey, beautiful flowers, dried goods, soap, and even an upcycled crayon car! Each week was a new experience in food for our family. My favorite new food experience was ground cherries. I can't put my finger on what I specifically liked so much about them but I dream about eating them! Yummmy!

The owners of Need More Acres CSA are amazing honest people. These days honesty doesn't come around often and when it does you know it! Nathan and Michelle are willing to share their knowledge of farming, family life, and food options. It is refreshing to spend time with them and their family. When picking up our CSA box it was common to see cats playing, hear children laughing, and always smiling faces at Need More Acres. What a breath of fresh air!
