The market and people are nice. The produce, on the other hand, was way too expensive. I love buying local, but I shouldn't be punished for doing so. It's sad that buying healthy local food has become so faddish in a bad way. It's like when you're preparing for a wedding you never add the word wedding in front of anything or it triples in price, the same has become of local organic foods.

I enjoy going to this market but you are correct, produce is pretty pricey.

Where else can you go for good music, fun crafts, great food and fresh veggies while enjoying a steaming cup of coffee and enjoying the crowd. This place is great.

It is wonderful! It has an amazing assortment of vendors and several are very young families growing organically. I try to buy something from each one of them. The market is a meeting place. They sponsor parties, events, have music, support local organic efforts, contribute to downtown Dayton in every way. It is my friends that I always see there.

Support local farmers and artists. Get great deals on groceries, many organic and natural. Sample a variety of food. Buy art, coffee, prepared food, wine, clothing, pottery, honey, baked goods, flowers, etc. Bring cash and a bag.

It has a great selection and variety. It also is centrally located for Dayton's residents as well as for those living in Dayton's surronding suburbs. A very friendly place and a wonderful ethnicity to it.

It offers a WIDE variety of foods that include vegetables, fruits, plants, pastries, beverages, etc. It has a great vegan vendor and so many others. It is central and is open Monday through Saturday. It is also the place where Miami Valley Grown, a group that is trying to increase access of fresh and local foods to other people (young mothers, elderly, low income, etc) and to support the efforts of local farmers, meets there regularly. Great parking. Family friendly and so much more!

I love the people, the atmosphere, the prices, the variety of products offered and how close the market is to my home. The vendors are warm and friendly, and remember me each week when I return. All in all it is a very pleasant shopping experience and unlike the grocery store, I actually look forward to going there every week! I only wish it were open more days!

Great vendors, good selections and there is a Vegan Vendor!!! There are no vegetarian/vegan restaurants in Dayton, and this market is as close as it comes to it. Kolbs Catering is outstanding and has some of the best desserts.
