This year (2016) the market seems to have very little produce or growers. More jewelry vendors and promos. I also was treated very poorly by one of the vendors in front of my children. I will not be supporting the market this year. I think they really need to evaluate the vendors they have doing business there. They are suppose to be an example of our city, as well as, a chance for us to support local growers. Garden means produce and food!

I love our local farmers' market!

We'd love to update the info about our market but don't know how.

The market is now located at Merlin Olsen Park at 100 S 200 W in Logan.

We run from May to October and from 9am to 1 pm.

We are a mostly producer only market. We do allow our vendors to sell produce that has been grown by their neighbors in Cache Valley with permission from the market manager. No out of valley brokering allowed.

We accept EBT/debit/credit cards.

I actually help with another market in the Valley (Paradise) and this bigger market has been really helpful to us and some of our vendors. They even tell other vendors to try us and we sincerely appreciate that. They paved the way for the smaller markets to come in. They also do what they can to help local producers and shoppers buy and sell local goodies. We look forward to working with them and the other Utah markets more in the future! They're fun to shop around, so check them out when you have a free Saturday to walk around!

We love this market! Beautiful setting, great produce and kind, freindly vendors. Great place to spend Sat morning with a cup of coffee, music and a good variety of local produce and goods. Wish it didn't close so early.

I love to go to the CV Gardeners Market each Saturday morning with my 11 yr old daughter. We have fun picking out everything from cheese and breads to vegtables, handmade jewelry and ALWAYS have to get a fresh fruited lemonade! We also enjoy the social aspect. We always run into atleast a handful of people we know and have even made friends with some vendors. I think it helps teach my daughter how and where our food comes from, the love and labor that goes in to it and that it doesn't "just arrive" at the store. The quality of everything we have ever bought there is fabulous!

The people, the place, and especially the produce. It's a great way to meet an old friend. . .in person. . .and feel a real sense of community.

I recently moved to Cache Valley (last summer) from Florida and experienced a bit of culture shock. Visiting the CVGM gave me a sense of the vibrancy and intellectual diversity of the Cache Valley. I love visiting there and collecting food and treasures to share with my family. I've never attended the market and not run into at least one person that I knew!

My family and I enjoy collecting our produce, eggs, cheese, bread, meats, and honey from the market each week. My children have visited with a variety of Gardeners', Bee Keepers, Farmers, learning about "where" their food comes from. We are vendors at the market and love the atmosphere and local gathering it brings each week. There's no better way to spend a Saturday morning!

Every town needs a way to support their locally grown produce, to support the community, to support organically and sustainable produce in our community and for our health. Plus, it's a great place to gather. A great party every week!

I spend half of my time in a very rural part of Utah. The Cache Valley Gardeners' Market is the closest farmers market to my home. I go there as many weekends as I can during the season. The farmers are friendly, helpful with cooking tips, and I love the environment. There is always live music, good coffee, and great shopping. Utah has the best raspberries in all of the US! Last week I bought beautiful raspberries, cherries, apricots, golden chard, red and golden beets, butter lettuce, raw milk gouda cheese, and a $6 alpaca scarf!! I think I spent about $20 in total. This is an amazing bargain compared to what I pay for fresh produce at my other home (NY city).

It's a great place to pick up local food. Cache Valley is a small place and there aren't really stores that specialize in local foods. But, through the gardener's market we get to learn what the valley has to offer: anything from local cheeses and meats to produce. Not to mention some of the crafts and even locally made dog treats!!

Logan's oldest farmers' market supports local agriculture. Lately there has been some competition from new markets created to allow out-of-state brokering but our vendors can only sell produce either they have personally grown or that of another local farmer. At the most - the produce you buy there is just one step from the field. Saturday mornings brings together a melting pot of locals and Summer Citizens who come to Logan to avoid the AZ heat. Everyone enjoys the best community spirit, food and music in Cache Valley. As a non-profit we give back to the community in the form of educational agricultural demonstrations and special events. It's where the Locals meet.
