I visited the farm for the first time today. The chickens all look healthy and happy nibbling on grass, worms, bugs, and all of the natural foods that God created for chickens to eat. Marybeth was lovely to show me around in the heat. The chickens are protected in chicken tractors that are regularly moved around the large grassy property. I loved the whole operation and can once again feel good about eating chicken that is raised and processed safely and humanely. I haven't been able to handle vegetarianism, so if I'm going to eat meat, I'm glad it can be from a small family farm like this one.
