Awesome place to go for fresh produce. I com pared their prices this week to Walmart and Target and the result was the Rosemeade Mkt was lower. We had bought cantaloupe at Walmart that we threw away because it was not ripe and tasted awful. We bought 3 cantaloupe at Rosemeade and they were all ripe and delicious. Their watermelons have been sweet and ripe for a month now. Staff are extremely helpful. They found some tortilla chips for me with no fat or sugar. Usually there are several things to sample so you can taste what you are buying. They have very beautiful and healthy flower plants. Just gorgeous. A great place to go!

After hearing much talk about this great venue I took time on my day off to drive down to see it. First off let me say it is an IMPRESSIVE faciltiy! Beatuiful green houses and plants, but I came for the food...So lets shop.

Farm Fresh Eggs.... Yes all eggs come from a farm, these eggs come from Prosper, TX. Local Eggs, great. Well most consumers do not know that one of the largest commercial egg producers in the central U.S. is located in Prosper, TX. Mahard Egg Farm If you buy eggs at any large grocer besides Wal-Mart you have probably bought Sonny Mahard's eggs. They have 100,000's of layers in Prosper, Southern Oklahoma, and NW of Vernon, TX. The white eggs where in cartons that where labled Mahard, the brown eggs where not labeled and lead you to believe that these are from some small farm out in Prosper. Misleading? I think so.

Produce, typical produce selection that you will find at Brookshires! Did not see anything labled organic or local.

Groceries, same stuff you can buy at Market Street and Sprouts only slightly higher.

Only bright spots are dairy, they have both Texas Daily Harvest and County Line Farms organic milk. Both great products, both locally produced and owned.

They may have a "Farmers Market" banner slapped up on the building, but for $100 bucks you can put one up at your house too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dissapointing to say the least
