Just the trip down the long drive through the woods is worth it--and once you get there, you're in for a wonderful adventure. They have vegetables picked right there, honey made from their bees, jams and pickles and bread and other things made in their kitchen. Every fall and spring there is a natural foods gala that is an event we never miss. Great samplings of local foods cooked on the spot and served on real glass tableware with cloth napkins because they are very serious about the environment. Oh, and I forgot to mention they have plants for sale, and any that I have bought there have thrived amazingly well. And their store is the perfect place to find unique gifts. I love it!

My husband and I have been shopping here for a few years. The people are helpful and friendly and the food is TRULY local and organic. They have a great little cabin store with a variety of items, many local crafts (as well as really beautiful African bolsa bags perfect for filling with kale, peppers, tomatoes and other seasonal veggies).

When I first moved to Citra, this place seemed like a page back in time and was wonderful to visit. They had a wonderful store, great workshops on making things we used to have to have to survive, I just loved it. Over the last 9+ years it has kept it's charm but grown and is finally gets the recognition it deserves. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to get back to natural from those who have been at it long beofre it became hip.
