I grew up down the road from the Scharf's. Passing their beautiful orchards and fields on my way to school was always a highlight. They even gave me one of my first jobs. You'd be hard pressed to meet a more kind family, and hard pressed to find better produce.

My family has been buying from Scharf for generations at Soulard market. May they be around for many more generations!

AMAZING! Perfect and sweet! We bought 2 flats of strawberries yesterday, we made homemade strawberry cheesecake ice cream, jam, marmalade, puree, and some with balsamic vinegar, sugar and cracked pepper. AMAZING!! I only had 2 not so hot strawberries out of all of those! So worth the drive if you are not that close. Love everything ever purchased there. This was my first time for strawberries. And the ONLY place to go from now on! Thank YOU!

My husband and I live close by and truly enjoy stopping by. Have gotten peaches, tomatoes and anything else that looks good. great fresh and frozen for use in winter. Prices are great and quality to boot. Can't wait for the next peach season!
