I love farmers markets, but I can't tell you how many times I have went to a market hoping to get certain things only to find out they sold out prior to my getting there (yes I am not a morning person.) This online market allows you to shop from your computer all day Wednesday and Thursday buying from as many different producers as you like. The farmers get your order and harvest the items Friday, you pick up Satruday morning and write 1 check--How much simpler could it be?

Suzanne has strict standards as to who she includes, all growers are sustainable. You can also get things like grass fed beef, fresh eggs, handmade soaps, homemade baby food, prepared foods etc. It is really great. Please help support this wonderful new way to shop and support local farmers/producers.

The Cumming Harvest is not a farmers' market per se, it's better!! You check online on Wednesday and Thursday to see what the different growers are offering, order it, they pick it, and you pick it up and pay on Saturday! You know in advance exactly what you're getting and how much it will cost, and they know what to harvest. Nobody loses time or money (crops that don't get bought). What a great idea!!!

The Cumming Harvest has a fabulous variety of local growers and vendors, to the extent that you can pretty much do ALL your grocery shopping for food and many other products (soap, baby food, gift baskets...) through them. All the while supporting a sustainable local food community! I love it!!! You will too - give them a try!!
