Reviews for: Hayward Farmers Market

This market continues to decline. Not enough organic vendors, there were two there last Saturday, also less vendors than what used to be there. I go elsewhere than my hometown of hayward for good produce.

I enjoy meeting the farmers who produce the fruits & veggies I'm providing for my family. I grew up visiting farmers markets with my parents & I want my children to appreciate where their food comes from. Not a plastic bag from the grocery store; a real farm! I know that what these vendors are doing is such hard work & just want them to know that many families throughout the community are appreciating it every week!! Keep up the good work!!

For its excellent selection of produce and friendly vendors. It's so wonderful to see such a nice market in Hayward. I truly appreciate it.

They have a vendor who sells the BEST Woodstock bread. I buy two loaves each time I go ... one to freeze, the other to eat throughout the week. Everyone I've given the bread to LOVES it. They also have very good fruit and the manager, Brad, has been very kind to our Relay for Life group by providing us with free space to set up a booth to inform and educate the community on Relay and cancer.

The Hayward Farmers Market is the most diverse market I've ever visited in terms of produce selection. It has many Asian farmers who carries a wide variety of veggies I grew up eating without having to go to a large Chinese supermarket chain. The producers are all friendly, the prepared foods delicious, and the live music pleasant (one week it had Taiko drummers!).

always lots to choose from, I enjoy have such fresh produce that can not be found in the super markets. Best of all they are close to home.

Nothing better then fresh fruit and vegtables. Plus I want to support the hard work of our local growers. This is my way of saying thank you.

It is convenient to get there with any mode of transportation, since it is close to BART and downtown!

There is always wonderful produce to look forward to and a pleasant experience when we go :)
