I tried a variety box of grass-fed beef last year, and will be picking up this year's box (two, if I can) this week.

I don't eat a great deal of beef, but when I do I like to know it was raised on nature's own grasses, with no need for herbicides, pesticides, or fertilizers, no hormones, and no unnatural force-feeding of grains. The result is beef the way it tasted in the days of cowboys and cattle drives. Rich, tender, and wholesome.

I also have the advantage of knowing Jackie. In addition to farming, she works part-time for U of I Extension and coordinates the Winnebago County Master Naturalist program. I can highly recommend that program, and I know that no-one is more committed than Jackie to protecting our habitat and farming organically.

Highly recommended!
