Today I was walking my son around the neighborhood looking for ripe berries that grow around the area. On the way there, a man in his truck drove by, two dogs in the bed. I pointed the dogs out to my son as Greg slowed to turn.

Greg smiled and waved. "We're having a farmer's market down the street," he announced. "Come and see."

A farmer's market within walking distant to my house! Considering I was heading that anyway, this was clandestine walk.

Right now the selection is small, but soon, this could be something big. There is lots of room to grow, both literately and figuratively.

I am looking forward to seeing what comes of this and wish the best of luck to the Riggs family.

I feel very lucky to haves this market so nearby!
