Last year was our first year ordering beef from Golden Rose livestock. We purchased a 1/4 share and are extremely happy with our purchase. The packaging was nicely done with clear labeling, too. We have been enjoying our purchase with our family and plan on making another order this year, too.

This will be my 3rd year ordering lamb from Gold Rose livestock. Last year I also managed to snag a few cuts of beef from a friend who ordered a half share. Both were great -- very flavorful. I love being able to customize my order and get exactly the cuts I want while supporting a local farm. I'm definitely looking forward to this year's share.

We got a half share of a lamb last year, and have just ordered again. The suggested cuts were perfect, giving us a nice selection of chops, leg, shanks, shoulder, stew and ground. Everything was excellent; the chops in particular were some of the best we've ever head - tender and very flavorful.

We found a package of lamb chops that got lost in the freezer and had them for dinner last night. They were excellent, as were the other cuts from the half-share we bought last year. I look forward to picking up this year's order soon. It's great to have a source like Golden Rose so close to our home near downtown Chicago.

We are looking forward to the arrival of this year's lamb from Golden Rose. Our lamb last year was delicious- tender and flavorful. They did a terrific job cutting and packaging to order. This is an excellent farm which should be a resource for all lamb lover's!
