I was disappointed to buy this cut of meat. Some parts of this meat tasted like liver. Everyone noticed it

We are so pleased that we found this hidden gem in downtown Mckinney. The staff is so helpful and professional and go the extra mile for all of their customers. They actually take the time to stop and find out what we are needing on our trips up to their store. We drive from Plano to buy our milk and beef products from them. The kids enjoy the yogurt drinks we get there. Since we have been there, the amount of products available have grown. It's great to see that Matt has partnered with so many quality producers that have the same enthusiasm for their products. We are so glad we found the Local Yocal!!!

I bought some grass-fed porterhouse steaks from the Local Yocal Farm to Market a few weeks ago and they were quite honestly the BEST steaks I have ever had! And I've been to some nice steakhouses across the country. Not only was it tender and flavorful but I felt good knowing the food I was putting inside of my body was healthy, organic...the way nature intended.

We love their organic milk from County Line Farms. It's the ONLY kind we drink now.

If you're looking for personal service and a familiar, friendly face when you grocery shop, then the Local Yocal in McKinney is the place for you!

We stumbled across Local Yocal the second weekend they were open. Inventory was not as extensive as it is now but we did pick up a couple of gallons of organic milk and some pork. Mark and his wife were a pleasure to talk to and discussed their plans and ambitions with great enthusiasm.

Since then we have returned on numerous occasions for the eggs, milk, beef , and various baked goods. They have great quality control and wonderful vendors. Their Facebook page posts their current specials like the Waygu burger patties with fresh buns over Memorial day weekend. Real butchers are pretty much extinct so it is nice to find someone that can cut a steak exactly as requested. They are very accommodating with special requests provided they are given adequate notice.

We continually refer people to Local Yocal and wish them the best. If you are truly concerned the food you consume and where it comes from this is a great place to shop.
