He is very knowledgeable about grass fed beef and gave us information about his raising practices. The beef is delicious and packed perfectly. I've bought 4 quarters from Nelson, always very good beef at a reasonable price. On the 5th time, I ran into a problem that he more than rectified at personal cost to him. So, when buying straight from the farm it is essential to have someone you trust & he is trustworthy.

Great people to buy grass-fed beef from. I've bought beef several times from Nelson. He tells you exactly what to expect and the beef is ready when he say it is. Delicious, healthy, grass-fed beef and very reasonably priced.

I visited the farm and liked what I saw. Beautiful farm with lots of green pasture for the herd to roam. I bought a grass fed calf that dressed 630lbs. Taste great with a good amount of fat for grass fed. Just make sure you specify what your looking for as he does feed some grains, I believe mostly by request. Also I had the butcher save all the trimmed fat to blend with the ground beef. I highly recommend that. Burgers turn out juicy and tasty!

This is the third time we have ordered meat from Homestyle Natural Beef. Once again it is grrreat, nice and tender and the fact that is natural is a plus. The price is right and the people we deal with (Nelson Doolittle) are wonderful and care about their product. Nelson takes the time to call after we get our meat to see if we are satisfied.

I've been wanting natural beef for many years and finally did it, my adult children are hooked, we like the taste of the meat, we got some bones to make a stock for soup and our dogs and the visiting dogs enjoy chewing on the bone. My husband and i went to visit where the beef come from, they were in a peaceful green pasture, clean environment, good hard working people who take care of their animal. Thank God for people who provides healthy meals.
